Description:	Menno Boermans, Dutch photojournalists, mountaineer and photographer. Menno studied 'journalistic photography' at the Photo academy in Amsterdam and worked for a long time as a freelance news photographer for Dutch daily newspapers like Het Parool, Dagblad Trouw and het Algemeen Dagblad. He also was a firefighter and rescueworker at the Fire & Rescue department in the Dutch region of Utrecht for 12 years. He is currently based in Wallis, the heart of the Swiss Alps.
