| Alistair Baird - http://www.alistairbaird.co.uk/ A gallery of fine art landscapes, abstracts and nudes sensitively captured in black and white. Running a commercial darkroom has considerable benefits for a photographer but the drawbacks are that whilst everyone else has been out, travelling the countryside, making use of good weather, I am stuck inside processing their work! This makes for some frustration at times and this site is proof to the world that I can still take photographs and a reminder to me to get out and take some more! I hope you enjoy the site. - Read more |
| Amanda Norman - http://www.amandanorman.com/ Photographs of graveyards, dark portraits and haunted places in the UK. Does the thought of walking amongst the dead make you nervous, or do you relish the opportunity to find out more about the local history? These places of rest conjure up all types of emotions amongst the living. | Angry Skies - http://www.angryskies.co.uk/ Photography has many aspects, and this is my visualisation. No arty-farty psycho babble. No lying digital manipulations, No digital fakery, just my camera, my film, my chemistry, my alchemy, my RAW honesty. This is where I live and work, this is my life, my travel, my breath, my sight, my love, my hate, my despair, my glory. The vast majority of my work is monochrome. I love it. Its inexplicable, ineffable, something that is so expressive, pure and raw. The Negative is the absolute essence of purity of image, the absolute truth. It is so physical. I like keeping image manipulation to an absolute minimum even when shooting digital. - Read more |
