It is not often that a high school elective evolves into a lifetime passion. Yet that is precisely what photography has become to me. A gallery of fine art landscapes, abstracts and nudes sensitively captured in black and white. Running a commercial darkroom has considerable benefits for a photographer but the drawbacks are that whilst everyone else has been out, travelling the countryside, making use of good weather, I am stuck inside processing their work! This makes for some frustration at times and this site is proof to the world that I can still take photographs and a reminder to me to get out and take some more! Its inexplicable, ineffable, something that is so expressive, pure and raw. The Negative is the absolute essence of purity of image, the absolute truth. It is so physical.
